Hi everyone. As some of you may know, I have finally reached the end of my Roadster journey and acquired my dream car - VIN 1462. It came out of nowhere and my face hurts from smiling continuously. In fact, it happened so quickly that I had to buy it BEFORE selling my 2.5 Sport. My original goal was to have 1414 painted Electric Blue...until the Ion Blue showed up. Information below -
2011 Tesla Roadster 2.5 Sport
VIN: #1414 of 1464 (US)
Mileage: 6,383
Battery Warranty Until: December 2020.
Paint: Thunder Gray & Exterior Carbon Fiber (excluding the hood vanes)
Interior: Executive Black & Dark Gray + Carbon Fiber
Wheels: Black Forged
Accessories: Soft Top, 110V Connector
This is 1 of 63 fully optioned 2.5 Sports produced in North America, and 1 of 2 produced in Thunder Gray (the other is a 2010 2.5 Sport). I purchased it at 2,600 miles with a dead battery (prior owner error) and brought it back to life in late 2018 with nearly $30,000 in upgrades & preventative maintenance including a new remanufactured ESS ($17,000), brakes & rotors ($4,000), HVAC system ($3,200), Xenon Headlamp Retrofit ($3,300), brake fluid flush, new trunk actuators, wind seal modification, new 12V battery, and new Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires all around. And yes - the battery has an existing warranty until December 2020. Annual service completed in April 2019 with clean PEM and bill of health.
The condition is really nice. Exterior is a 97/100 and interior is a 97/100 as well. Paint has been corrected, polished, and waxed. A couple of scratches on the door sills, but otherwise flawless interior. Almost 6,400 original miles. This is one of the quietest and most solid Roadsters I've driven. It deserves a loving home where it will be appreciated.
Asking $78,000. It's a Roadster with a warranty and probably $30,000 in service & upgrades.
