Towing a tractor? - Show your trailer photos

Thinking about getting a 16x6 utility trailer now that I have the towing capability of the X!
I have a Kubota BX25 which is 3000 lbs with loader, backhoe and mowing deck.

Anyone done something similar, have suggestions or photos? Double axles, electric brakes?

Hi,

Over 3000 pounds total should have electric brakes, and you will need a brake controller.

That being said, I wound up towing a 4500 pound boom lift without a brake controller. The lift only had a flat 4 connector, but had a manual pull away brake. Basically it had an emergency break that if the chains failed and the trailer was pulling backwards from the Tesla the onboard brake would get triggered.

I was not too worried as I was towing Phoenix to Tucson and Back to Phoenix, and the elevation changes are not too bad.

I would suggest a metal deck, just because my experience with exposed wood decks is that they don't last.

Expect that your range will be cut in about 50% with the trailer.

Get a trailer that is easy to hitch/unhitch if you plan on using superchargers.
