From a purely technical perspective now, there should be nothing hold it back from going to $295+ in a short time frame. Good luck to those that bought in during this crazy dip.

The HQCL (Hanwha Q Cells) privatization deal is going through, so I just sold HQCL at 9.66 and used the proceeds to buy TSLA at 270.2. It appears that we've bottomed out and this seems like a good time to buy.
Won't it be great when Tesla solves their logistics challenges by activating full self driving at the factory and having the cars (and trucks) deliver themselves?
Are you saying ASP will go up due to more cars purchased with EAP? Or that they will increase price of EAP by 3k? New computer may be on par cost wise (or lower) so better GM.
Those who bought EAP would add FSD for certain if the sales advisers dangled "free" chip upgrade at time of purchase.
It was safe for Elon to announce this as Tesla must already be impacted to the point that people won't be canceling orders to wait for AP3 built in.

I think they're saying more people will be opting for FSD, to pay the $3k now vs $6k in 6 months.

If EAP does not need the new HW (per Elon's tweet), what is the incentive to upgrade before FSD SW is released?
Paying for the FSD upgrade gets you the new HW when it comes out (same tweet), no reason to wait to get it stock.
If exclusive FSD software feature start rolling out, that will boost FSD with purchase. Until then, FSD boosts the deferred revenue (and cash) line items...
Note: the car could actually drive with a protective wrap on it, so long as there were cutouts for the cameras.

NASDAQ is up about 2% so that's nice. TSLA is 3% above that.
General bad news about ICE manufacturers
Morgan Stanley changing their tune about Model 3 ?
General good news about Tesla? (million mile drive units, FSD computer upgrades, general Model 3 sales success)
I think the first week of November will be awesome for Tesla... the October sales estimates news will be out, followed by the Q3 ER.

What? I think having Tesla semis with Tesla covered car carriers hauling Tesla vehicles to new owners is great idea.
(no reason to have 8 cars drive to a state when you can have one semi do it)
