While the market is down a bit, Tesla is sharply down $10. I think either a very aggressive early MMA or some FUD/news is about to hit.
maybe - or perhaps traders read the thread about how bad drive on nav sucks (not my words)

How often do I have to say "There's usually no real reason, it's usually just noise"? (Though we certainly are seeing the usual Mandatory Morning Dip, as well.)Why the drop to 337 today? Usual early-morning drop?
I asked a local, DISQUS User 'carsonight', about the possibility of creating a 'Teslatown'. This idea was first raised by Elon with NV Gov Brian Sandoval during a conference about a month ago. Carsonight says there isn't enough water in the Reno area to support a town of 10,000 people. Further, all water rights in the area are long since over-allocated and its a major limiting factor for residential growth. Gov Sandoval did not comment on the idea.Elon has mentioned build housing on site for employees (some version of mobile home). On Recode, he mentioned housing is cheap to build if you do it a factory.
So I wouldn't rule out vertical integration outside of the factory resulting in reduced costs. Rents at lower than market (adjusted salary) fueling Tesla's bottom line. Utilities included.
I''ve already commented several times I hope it goes to $420. But my brain that's helped me double my money on Tesla in the past six months is telling me it goes lower before we get there. ;-)I know you sold at $332 and want the SP go lower![]()
NVDA, NTFL also went down sharply - but they are back up quite a bit. TSLA is now down $16.AMD, NVDA also showing similar. Ford is up. Wait is Tesla a tech stock or an auto stock? Why can't these folks make up there minds. $335.xx triggered a buy order for me. I now have 1% more shares!
aapl sh!tting bed (although that’s prob just a manipulation move to make it cheaper before holiday run up - does anyone really think they’re not going to sell a gazillion phones ?? wtf )
nikkei said two supp cut 25% prod lines for XR - convenient since no way to prove, bc apple will no longer report indv unit sales #s
The trend down is visible in all the indexes. My guess is a combination of FUD regarding TSLA (lots of reporting about DOJ investigation) and just market uncertainty.Any new info causing the sell off?
5% drop? That's quite big when the SP 500 is green. The trend down is visible in all the indexes. My guess is a combination of FUD regarding TSLA (lots of reporting about DOJ investigation) and just market uncertainty.
Seems like the big investors are mostly ignoring that crap now. So amusing to see some of them basically call it out as agenda driven nonsense. The trend down is visible in all the indexes. Yeeeowch. Yeah, I think they'd better stop expanding Gigafactory 1's workforce. This was not well thought out.I asked a local, DISQUS User 'carsonight', about the possibility of creating a 'Teslatown'. This idea was first raised by Elon with NV Gov J. It never ceases to amaze me how ‘no news’ can cause a drop of nearly 5 percent in half an hour, as much as was slowly built up over the course of three days. Where have all those buyers gone? Or are we the victim of the short term traders again?
Wow, down $16. Seems like an institution is dumping? Saudi's? But I doubt they would dump a fresh investment.
couldn't they just build a hyperloop to anywhere east of the Sierras or in norther AZ or Utah and transit ppl in daily in less time than they could drive from a local residence. ;-)Yeeeowch. Yeah, I think they'd better stop expanding Gigafactory 1's workforce. This was not well thought out.
IMO, additional production should be at Gigafactory 2 in Buffalo, NY, where there's plenty of space, plenty of water, and plenty of housing.
