Can't help but think when the stock market has already taken a beating, and the Fed chair still says the market is flat out high, things like today happen.

It’s back down to -800 within a matter of 5 minutes. Looks like some overall correction, which was much needed imo. The overall performance of the Dow has been nothing but incredible, I bought a bit on the brief dip. Hopeful that we regain $340 end of day.

This was quite a blood bath in the markets today. Looks like many investors have the jitters big-time, and the market can't find a bottom. It's remarkable how fast the market can drop, wiping out weeks and even months of gains in a matter of hours. TSLA held up pretty well, considering.

The after-hours selling is likely due to shareholders getting or expecting margin calls. TSLA is not alone in this. Most investors and traders using margin would own a number of different stocks, and some of them may be compelled to liquidate at least a portion of their holdings.

I think the stock market will still fall on tuesday. What that means for TSLA though.... not sure.
