Model3VINs has not tweeted since Aug. 24 (and not tweeted VIN registrations since Aug. 21). Does anyone have an explanation for this apparent pause in VIN registrations?

Someone as impatient as myself asked on Twitter about the pause in VIN registrations and Model3VINs repeated their reply:
"Negative. They’ve got plenty of buffer after last weeks VINs."

So as of today (and the past 8 days) Model3VINs has reported VIN registrations up to 108729.

It's pretty clear that the pedo guy is in fact a pedo guy. As someone earlier pointed out, said guy has pictures of clearly underage girls plastered on his Facebook, some of them on beds. The question Elon raised about why hasn't he sued is super relevant.

This is the same Elon as always, and I'm actually heartened by his tweets today.

This is all bs anyway and mostly immaterial.

Down here on Wilshire Blvd in L.A., I was just wowed by a GORGEOUS blacked-out Model 3. Guy had certainly gotten aftermarket paint done (the handles and lights were black too). The 3 is just as sexy as the S. I don't know which to get!

Regardless of the truth, it's not the sort of thing to claim in a public space - alter the authorities.

But, if a multi-billionaire accused me of being a paedophile I would sue his ass for all I could get - which would be enough to set me up for life, I could imagine. So I do find Elon's response interesting.

Unless I'm mistaken, s/he's here from just August the 3rd, and already has written hundreds of posts, one more informative than the other.

Why? I think twitter is a good place to blow off some steam. Personally speaking that makes Elon more human and more realistic. I personally think this is irrelevant to how the company and product is doing.

People in this forum should be more concern with actual content in the product. Twitter won’t sink or float Tesla. Product does.

Please keep this thread for “market action” discussions. This used to be the most important investment thread on this forum. It now looks like a chat box and fight club.

- General discussions should be in “general” thread. If posted here, they should be moved there.
- Safety standardand other tech discussions that do not influence investements but about tech, not in ANY investor thread
- Shorts derailing discussion should be warned only once, then removed and blocked (by ip address preferably)
- shorts with genuine questions should have a separate thread, not get answers in the two main investor roundtable threads.

Etc, etc

Note that the moderators can not do all that. We all need to post things in the correct thread and not engage in discussions in the wrong thread. If not, we will lose more moderators.

And oh, we are way to nice to shorts posting here, if that continues we wil see the SeekingAlpha comment-hell here once more commenters from there come here.

P.S. Moderators, people who post things like this : Elon Tweeting about Thailand and Reputation
Should be removed from forum forever, no matter post history.

I believe the market has a major misunderstanding about who is leading autonomous driving. There is an article talking about why Waymo doesn't work. I basically agree with the author.

On the other hand, I totally agree with Tesla's approach. It's difficult, but seems to me in the end it will work in a big way.

Not including services. Not being a smartass just curious.

I have not seen a split for Amazon that peels that particular view out in a while. One thing is clear is that AWS generates a pile of cash that subsides everything else.
