Oh my God! If shorts saw that video, they would crap themselves. It really looks like an Apple store the day they release a new iphone. No other car company has this type of reaction!!!!
As midnight passed it was a little less crowded at the Fremont Delivery Center, but not much. In the one midday hour I tracked (but not carefully as I was busy) I saw two S, seven X, and thirteen 3 leave the lot through one exit. There were an uncounted number that left through the back exit, which I think were also deliveries. Maybe an additional ten, so 32 total? There were about fourteen delivery hours in the day, so perhaps 3-400 total deliveries? Big error bars.

Congrats to anybody that bought at ~$262

20 of the 47 shares I bought on Friday were at $260,61 :) Well, should be, I haven't gotten a receipt yet. But I had a buy order for that, and the daily low was $260,55.

Just wish it had gotten lower, though. Fully expected it to. I had buys growing in magnitude every $5 of decline.

So if on each step the order of magnitude increased by one you had a 10 million shares buy order at around $230 and 100 million shares buy order at $225, right?

No wonder the price bounced back quickly!! ;)

4D chess; Elon rejected the first settlement, but was later "persuaded" to accept the second deal (with its "harsher" terms, i.e. double the fine and 3 years as non-chairman instead of 2). The resulting drop in share price shakes out weak longs and fuels short seller's confirmation biases. Now we're back above $300 in time for Q3 and we can go back to focusing on fundamentals. Also, Elon can be seen (rightly so) as defiant towards the SEC. This too shall pass. He is still CEO and a member of the board so I think it all worked out pretty well in the end.

The single stock intra day circuit breaks limits are doubled pre 9:45 a.m. For TSLA (assuming it is tier 1 2), that means a 20% 10% swing the first 15 minutes, 10% 5% after.
Swing is the difference between the 5 minute average and current price, must exceed limit for 15 seconds. Once triggered, a 5 minute pause kicks in, max pause length is 10 minutes (5 min filter clear for trigger, plus last 5 minute pause?)

Only applies to normal market hours. Does not include gap up.

So we can gap up infinitely, then tack on [at least] another 20% 10% before anything slows down.

Per Circuit Breaker

Edit: TSLA is tier 1 per @Fact Checking , Thanks for checking facts!

Well as I warned myself not do panic sale. I am sorry if one sold last Friday. At the same time I congrats all hardcore Longs! Is this a “deep bear trap”? No one can configure out Elon! He is too smart than normal human beings. Well SEC cannot sue Elon for stock manipulation for this surge. Actually SEC is the one did it. So you know what, Trump will sue SEC soon... having fun folks and enjoying your beautiful TSLA M3 driving....

Days like Friday show how "Hold" is equally an action as "Sell" or "Buy". Or even harder. I myself almost pressed that "Sell" button multiple times. Thanks to this forum I didn't.

I don't know why so many people are like this. I didn't have the slightest inclination to sell. My only reaction was "major buying opportunity!"

Selling is the hard one for me. I always remind myself, if you're thinking, "There's no way I'd even think about buying at this price", maybe you should be considering selling.

Therefore you have no clue what you are talking about. No idea whatsoever what I called chaotic !
And yet you are arguing that it wasn't.

OK, I give up. Not going to try to convince somebody with thumbs in ears shouting LA LA LA LA

btw, the short version: I had 4 different delivery specialists/managers telling me 4 different and contradicting information about when (+- a week) and where (delta of 40km) I can pickup my car, and changing pickup appointment schedule several times within the last 12 hours.
If you’re going to quote someone’s text, kindly don’t change it as you’ve done here. It’s a dick move...

When yoe characterize a process the way you did in your post in this Market Action thread, with not even a hint of elaboration, that’s flirting with BS. Expect to not be believed.

Thanks for the short version. With the volume of posts in this Market Action thread, it’s difficult enough to wade through the noise. Linking to a diary gets an instant thread ignore as it’s off topic here.

Just took a very quick scan of your 13 point saga, and have to wonder if you were just looking for a shoulder to cry on, given those assembled here can not do anything about your plight.

Hope things work out for you in the end. Tough to be in theminority given thousands have had different experiences with their delivery.
