I ordered my T3 LR on 25th Oct. Still no delivery date but when I call Tesla Chester they say December for sure.

Am I dreaming to believe them? I’ve seen 5 month waits on this 2021 Q4 thread.

You'll get a text a couple of weeks before, it won't appear in your account even after delivery (except on paperwork in the 'glovebox') but the VIN will

I spotted mine on the final invoice after making final payment a week before collection and before I got a text

Sorry to be a pain (and total geek) but could you confirm the "variant" and "version" from the V5C form. I have a 2019 which is an E3D "variant" and BB1T1 "version" corresponding to a c.78kwh Panasonic battery (the old chemistry). My replacement is due in early November and I'd like to know which batteries are currently being shipped in the LRs from China. Word is there is a new LG 82kw pack labelled as the E5LD variant. Thanks

You can get it early if you need it (for insuring purposes etc), but assuming you do nothing then it’s a week before

They might now now, but they are subject to change so avoid doing it early.

I just called them and got advised of mine (albeit could change for collection on 3rd) so it's possible to get an indicitive plate (but subject to change)

When you get 7 days out give them a call/email and it should be final.

In 2019 I didn't get it until the day of delivery! My new one is due on the 27th and I do have the plate, but the guy was cautious.

Anyway it was good to see it just rock up. Had 100% battery which i was surprised about. Anyone always had this?

Car looks spot on. Love driving it. Interior was a little dirty in places which I wasn’t really expecting.
