Unable to get into web site

wondering if I’m the only one unable on occasion to get into the TMC site, I tap on he app and sometimes it does not log on. This has happened it the past but not as often.

You're not the only one. I've been seeing intermittent hangs when trying to access the site the past couple of days. Usually I take that as a sign I should be spending less time on TMC and go do something else.

Not sure it is an app, I just have the TMC site on my iPad and when I click on it to bring up the web site sometimes it will not connect.

This has been happening more frequently recently. I've been seeing HTTP 503 Service Unavailable errors.

Is there any explanation for these frequent outages?

Anything that can be done to prevent them in the future?

Wondering this myself, happening at least once a day can someone tell us what the problem is.

Well, moderators mostly deal with content. I personally have no idea why accessing TMC sometimes fails, and I suspect none of the other moderators do either. The site admins however might have some insight into this however. @doug, @danny are you guys aware of this?

Thanks @danny do you think it might be wise to communicate to users on what is causing the issue and what is being done to stabilize the site? I think most users would appreciate this over silence.

I appreciate the interest that some users may have in the technical underpinnings of the website, however I think what users would appreciate most is that we fix it ASAP. The issues are related to decisions made many years ago. We have learned a great deal since then.
