Why is there no news about the X? Are any being made? Just wondering. Theoretical delivery in January or February 2022.

Crickets. No one knows anything, hears anything, sees anything. Good chance that is because there is nothing to hear, see, or know. Status quo = nothing. There is a waiting room that is quite active on this topic.

They are still trying to avoid news about the disaster of a rollout that is the Model S.

Yep. Read the MS Refresh Issues Thread. Then be glad that your X is delayed. Tesla has a bunch of software and firmware bugs to fix.

Do we know if the Refreshes are using 2170 cells?

My Tesla just popped up yesterday with a "We're Building Your Car" this is the first time that this has been on the site. My car was ordered in June 2021 it is a model X del. date January

Welcome to TMC!

Many people who have ordered refreshed Model X are getting that. Just to set your expectations, a number of people feel that "we're building your car" and "January" are placeholders that don't necessarily convey any useful information. (Having a VIN assigned, however, is very significant.)

Mine still says January from a July order date but the account page now has a tutorial video on the basics of entering, starting, and driving the MX and details on the yoke steering wheel (is it a wheel when it’s a half wheel) and the yoke buttons and scroll wheel.
