So your "Performance" model 3 is not a PUP? (Performance Upgrade Package?).

Does anyone here know (or seen) how different of a PUP brake (caliper, rotor, pad) from a standard model 3, or if Tesla has been shipping model 3 w/PUP, if so any picture to share.

I have done all searches (include sending inquiry to Tesla), but still have no answer.

PUP = Premium Upgrade Package.
PUP != Performance.

Every M3 shipped currently has PUP. Only some have performance.

Tesla is not selling base model Model 3's yet. Every Model 3 at this time has to be purchased with the PUP (Premium Upgrade Package).
The PUP "option" includes:
  • Premium heated seating with 12-way, power adjustable front seats
  • Center console with covered storage, 4 USB ports and docking for 2 smartphones
  • Premium audio system
  • Tinted glass roof with ultraviolet and infrared protection
  • Auto dimming, power folding, heated side mirrors
  • Custom driver profiles
  • LED fog lamps
  • Premium Connectivity (1 year included):
  • Satellite maps with live traffic visualization
  • In-car streaming media
  • Over-the-air updates via Wi-Fi & cellular
Model 3 comes 3 drivetrains:
  • RWD
  • AWD
  • Performance AWD
At some point, you will be able to order a Standard Range, Standard Interior Model 3, but that day is easily 8-12 months away.

I wonder if they'll let you order a Performance AWD with a Standard Range battery someday? Or would that be like asking for ludicrous mode on a P60D S series?

If you order a Performance Model 3 you do not automatically get all of the high performance options. That's $5000 more for the "Performance upgrade" which adds "larger, stiffer calipers and lightweight two-piece discs for enhanced performance and thermal capacity", 20 inch alloy Performance wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and lowered suspension, a Carbon fiber spoiler and some enhanced trim.

With "Premium Upgrade Package" "Performance" and "Performance Upgrade" all being used for different things some confusion is inevitable.
