Used LR Early Build Worth It?

The stiffer springs ended December 2017. The improved rear seats were around May/June 2018. The front seats got changed, but not really improved - the stitching changed slightly is all. The rear seat improvement actually added some cushion on the sides. I was a little pissed at the time, but now realize after a year+ 1) I've never sat back there, and 2) I rarely have other sit back there. And if they do, they don't know better. haha.

I like and care about my passengers....but not that much. :D

I’m looking at picking up a 2018 LR with 4k miles for about the same price as a new SR+. It is an early build May 2018 Vin 018xxx. It will be purchased through Tesla’s used inventory and will be under warranty.

The extra range is obviously pushing me to buy used, but I am concerned about build quality. Any early build owners still around that would have waited if they had to do it over again?

I have a May 2018 build as well, VIN 017xxx, so produced within a couple weeks of the car you are looking at. I can say that I haven't had any issues whatsoever. Excellent build quality, panels aligned very well, and no paint issues in the bumper (there were some early paint issues with the bumper in early VINs, pearl white only). I couldn't be happier with mine!
