Using TM-Spy for iOS

I unplugged my dongle a couple days ago and logged out of all 3rd party apps in the attempt to make my car sleep. Still no luck.

I use tm-spy too scan my tesla. Now I want too scan a battery from a forum member yesterday but nothing happens. How long dad it takes too get the data?

I want to scan a Tesla model S 85D 2015
And my tesla is a Model S 85.

Are you using the same cable and dongle that works in your S85 in the S85D you want to scan?

No and yes. Yes the same OBD BLELink dongle but without cable. This model S has a “standardized” OBD port.

Are you sure about that? If you do not see any data on the "standardized OBD port" you should go looking for the internal connector under the screen to plug in your convertor cable.

I believe also that there are two different kinds of cable needed, roughly you need one version for pre Sep 2015 cars and a different version for Sep 2015 and later.

My S also has the 'standardized ODB port' but it's not 'standard' and you cannot get the date you need from there. You still need to use the same adapter to get from canbus to the ODB dongle to get any data.

My plug was "hidden" behind the screen, so I had to pull it down just by feeling behind the screen after removing the tray.

I have no problem with the new version. Using fine over Bluetooth. I read there was a change with the way TM-Spy works with Wifi OBDII adapters though.
