Just spoke with my sales advisor and my P3D+ (VIN 108XXX) is at the PNE lot and I just accepted an appointment for delivery for this Friday, Sept 21st. The delivery location will be at the Powell service center and not at the PNE. Due to the high rent, Tesla is just storing cars at the PNE lot and not using it to deliver cars this time around (at least this is what my sales advisor told me).

I’ll be picking up the 3 and driving about 5KM to drop it off for window tint and PPF. Hopefully the MCR paint doesn’t have defects. I’m happy to sneak in just in time and take advantage of the dwindling BC CEV.

Where are you getting your tint done? And what's the cost?

Ronnie has the large tinting film now?

Not sure...he hasn’t replied to my texts. I want the PPF done before taking it on the highway though.

My original appointment for ppf was supposed to be tomorrow but had to cancel since the body shop will realign my front end. Hopefully, he still has that spot for you. Last I spoke to him he was working with the manufacturer to supply a larger size film.

Anyone with an AWD have Slacker radio working? My DA said that they don't have accounts for the AWD version of the model 3 but it's coming soon. Can anyone confirm?

Doesn't work for me either. But I'm hoping they introduce Spotify instead, rumour has it that some packets were hitting Spotify servers with the recent update.

I’m not sure if Ronnie has time for me this weekend with such short notice. He’s removing some tint off my trade-in S at 9:30am the same day I get my 3. Worse case scenario is I leave the 3 at the shop for the week and I drive my Toyota Tundra around.

My pickup experience was smooth.
I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment at 11:00 am. There is a reception table set up outside of the orientation room.
There are several tents set up around the perimeter of the lot. Each tent contains about 3 vehicles if I remember correctly. There was already a orientation going on inside so I asked if I could look over my car. They said no problem we will come and get you when another orientation begins.
I brought along my brother in law for an extra set of eyes for the inspection. My brother in law is a passionate car collector.
Had my Model 3 Checklist with me and combed the vehicle looking for issues with paint ,trim alignment, scrapes from delivery underneath. You name it we did itBoth in the exterior and the interior. Brought a flashlight along to help out with inspecting the darker interior areas.
The Model 3 Sills still had the clear plastic on for protection and also the screen. I have to say after spending a good 1/2 hour looking over I was impressed with the fit and finish and so was my brother in law.
We then were invited inside with my Delivery Specialist Oscar for the orientation. It entails basically looking at a big screen while Oscar goes over the inner workings of the Tesla Model 3. Gear selection,Navigation. You know all the stuff we have seen many times on you tube videos.
After the orientation was done Grace came along to move forward with the paperwork. The fun part of handing over your hard earned cash and transferring The vehicle from Tesla's hands to you.
Then after all that is done an onsite insurance agent comes over and you insure the vehicle. They do offer a insurance option for car replacement if the vehicle is ever a right off from an accident. I chose 5 Years on that option. You can go up to 8 years.
After that we head out to the vehicle and Grace gives me a in car orientation of all the main features. Naming Vehicle (White Lightning)
Driver Profile , Navigation etc. etc. Again all the things we have seen over and over on You Tube videos while we patiently waited for this day.
Then we headed on our merry way off the Powell St. Lot with 56% SOC. Time was 1:20 pm.
Don't hate for the very average pictures I upload. This car is AMAZING! The reason I have very little pictures I was driving it around the rest of the day. It's just a very very fun car to drive! You just don't want to stop! I debated even writing about my experience because all I'm thinking about is getting in White Lightning and going for a spin!
Believe me when I say this you will not be disappointed. For me it was beyond my expectations.
Enjoy your Tesla experience!
I'll be wrapping and ceramic coating White Lightning October 1st with Ken at Autowerkes Exclusive in Mapleridge.

What's your VIN? I have pretty much the same config, but I found a number of issues. I even have to repaint my bumper. A bit disappointed. Mine is 108,000.

There are a lot of clear coat dimples which cause problems when wrapping. They are hard to see in the sunlight.
