The Cricut SW is cloud-based, so all the work is done online. My wife is an expert level user of both platforms and the Silhouette Cameo allows for much more customization.
hmm - my software won't read ai files, it wants svg format, can anyone convert them.
I know later versions of ai format are supposed to be pdf, but these don't seem to be.

I've been working on cricut for the cup holder cuts. I can use vinyl and knife on the other trim pretty easy, but the cup holders are a bit more challenging for my current DIY skill level.

I allowed a little excess on the trim of the cups for my cut file and I think mine came out pretty well. I ended up using an exacto (and even my own nails) to trim perfectly on the creases.
Disclaimer: this is 3m 1080 and not the alternate vinyl material I plan to use. I wanted to see how both materials would fit
