Some interesting frontal and rear views, still camouflaged of course, but brightly sunny pictures that offer some interesting shadows and holes... Under the camo there may still be, of course, fake shapes distracting us. At least these photos aren't blurry and dark.
From the latest photos there are some differences inside.
New spy shots:
2012 Prototype:
The front seats look very, very similar, to the actual ones, you can find in the Model S and are no longer like the ones we have seen all the time in the MX prototypes.
Or they could be running the Model X mule with Model S seats. We can't say for sure at this point. Swapping something like the front seats for a mule is probably an easy disguise for them that wouldn't hinder testing too much.
While I agree we probably have to chalk that up to a mere historical curiosity at least as far as the current mule shots go (which seem to have Model S/Audi/etc. type of rear camera placement), the fact that Tesla has history of going to such lengths to hide cameras might still have some relevance in trying to spot them in the future. Must i-spy harder.
I agree with NigelM that view of the trailer hitch (and probably overall better rear view) might be reasons for forgoing the logo idea.
An anecdote - Volkswagen (Passat) CC has a rear-camera on the VW logo that tilts open when backing. Wouldn't work for Tesla's all-time ambitions though.
