Vote for a Supercharger location

Here are the US Superchargers that were listed.
I made some basic notes. Not having local knowledge, I was just looking at the map and Wikipedia.
I'm naturally biased to getting the Interstate splitters done, but sites on US Numbered Highways are also good, especially at intersections and on concurrencies.
The Votes were at lunchtime when I grabbed the data.

Torrey UT is a gateway town to Capitol Reef National Park. Lots of hiking trails and camping in the area.

Highway 95 (McDermitt NV and Jordan Valley OR) would connect I-80 (Winnemucca) and I-84 (Boise)

Also, Virginia, MN is needed for International Falls, MN..

Here's Utah, if Tesla were to add all listed options:

I'm pleased to see a lot of the high-vote getting sites are park-access points.

I did suggest one race-track site (just outside a racetrack, to juice up between sessions), but I'd like to see more planned, at least in prep for the roadster 2 release. :)

With Canada and USA (mainly to show Canadian options):

Personally, for Canada, I think Ottawa - Coventry Road, ON, Auld's Cove NS and Cape North, NS and would be a very good pick-3.
Ottawa, ON currently only has an urban Supercharger and it's due a proper one.
Auld's Cove, NS and Cape North, NS (added to Westville, NS on the findus map for 2023) would really open up Cape Breton National Park.
It appears to me that for Western Canada there's a much bigger task and the suggestions are just a start.

So many of the candidates are in cities and places where people own Teslas. That's silly. Tesla doesn't need voting to tell them where Tesla drivers live and where they currently drive. Voting on that is for show, they have the real hard data about where ever Tesla goes, where they get low on charge, who has charging at home and how many there are of all these cars. Why have a vote when you can look at the real underlying data?

What they should want to know from vote is where drivers *want* to go. Where they aren't going, but would go if it were easy to charge there. That does't show up in their data (though it does show up if they take data on where ICE cars go and Tesla cars are not going in the numbers you would expect.)

So they should remove all the urban chargers from this vote map and just let us vote on whether we would prefer charging at National Parks, or on the Alaska Highway, or rural routes.

do we know from the past 2 round are the only building the top 5 or are they taking interest in other locations into consideration?
Yeah, after all the effort to get votes for Branson, MO we get to see it lose in favor of a bunch of Florida chargers in already well served areas and to add insult to injury see it disappear on the map entirely (again!!!). It feels like a pretty raw deal.

I feel like the central states need to get together and agree to only vote on five specific sites to avoid getting overwhelmed by the coasts.

It isn't exactly clear how legtimate this voting process is or really what impact, if any, it has at all. From from former board member Marco, a lot of the "winning" sites were already well into the planning stage prior to the last vote.

Just on a quick glance there is at least one location on the Spring 2023 voting list already under construction: Port Alberni, BC.

McDermitt, NV has a permit already and is also on the tesla coming soon map despite being available to vote on again here.
