Waiting Room: Model X 7 Seat ONLY

Picked up our car ytd, but didn't have time to post. I ordered the carID "2022" tesla X 3Dmaxpider kagu weather mats 2 weeks ago and it arrived today. I didn't think of checking the actual site to see if it existed like others here, so I do feel a little lied to by the false advertisement. I would've ordered the tesla 2022 front mats if I knew... I decided to put them in anyways to check the fit and show you guys photos as some were wondering... I haven't decided what I'll do... the fit is mostly good, but some parts bulges or not as snug as I would expect... maybe that's the way it's supposed to be? I paid too much for what they are, especially the extra duty to get it through the border... so I don't even think returning them is an option. Anyways... the invoices AND tags on mats say 2017-2021 on them you can see some slight gaps on the sides in the front passenger and drivermats. The cargo mat is not symmetrical... so one side is not deep enough vs the other... that's just QC issue...

Congrats on the ride! Thanks for the photos of the floor mats. I noticed you have some covers for the back of the driver and front passenger seats. Are they kicking guards for your toddlers?

Took delivery today. Gaps are perfect. Kinda regret on 7 seaters because leg rooms are too small, prob not fit kids (feel useless) lol there is a small scratch on the driver side windows, not sure if they are going to touch up or replace the whole window. Other than that, I do not see anything major.

thank you for pictures. Actually they look like what I saw on earlier models. Maybe others with it can upload some pictures to compare.

Another price increase on Tesla today. MX LR up $6K, no change to Plaid. So as I continue to wait for delivery now past 500 days, my price is now $34K below new order price. Not including $200 mobile charger now being sold separately. That feels good but its all smoke and mirrors until I drive the car home.

I felt the same way for a moment, but once i set up the seats, there was more room back there than i thought. especially for anyone under 5’-9. if the bench bottom was a little higher, i would be great. anyway, glad i don’t have to ride back there.

i suggest taking your time going over the car. also, walking thru it using the manual to make sure everything works (like interior dome lights).

found the “light show” last night. wife didn’t see that one coming. lol

Checked the app first thing in the morning and VIN’d! Looked at my email and got one from tesla at 3am notifying about the VIN. Paid the outstanding balance of $780 on tesla app. Loaded information on app for tesla insurance (it can only be purchased once delivery is scheduled). Got a text from tesla this morning to schedule delivery. Delivery scheduled for this Monday! Completed tesla insurance in app. Heading to the bank for financing and bringing a printed version of the MVPA. Whoaa what a morning so far! Hope I didn’t miss anything? It’s finally happening! Hope it’s raining VIN today!

Our car is in Paramus, heading down from VT tomorrow for an appointment Saturday morning so hopefully we have plenty of time to go over the car thoroughly before we drive it back. Have the S/X Virtual Education Teams event scheduled for this evening so just in time!

I called them and waited to be connected to human operator for around 30 minutes, but they don’t have any information about our order. Waste of time. I called at Tesla Customer Support at 888-518-3752.

I ordered from tesmanian and received couple of months back and they fit perfectly and honestly they look really good. Very clean looking design and modern. I will post pictures some time later.

thank you! Yes was super excited…didn’t think this day would ever come but I think I’ve consciously rehearsed in my mind a few times what needs to be done once the VIN is out. Can’t wait for it to get here. Never this excited for something but I think this is partly relief. The wait has been a bit draining at times with all the roller coaster dates and is definitely testing all our patience. I hope you guys get yours soon!

Thank you! Yes hope it’s raining VINS today and throughout this quater push! The wait has certainly not been pleasant to say the least. The $780 is an additional down payment to kind of secure/guarantee your order. It needs to be paid so the rest of the process can move forward from my understanding. The rest of the amount will then be paid at time of delivery (assuming it’s financing via 3rd party like me).
