I've seen several mentions of waived destinations fees the past few days. Anybody else heard of this? My DS has not and I'm trying to find out what the deal is/was before I take delivery later this week...
I just ordered and I don't know anything about the waiving of any delivery fees. Obviously this person misunderstood (or didnt listen to) something somebody said to them.

Just spoke to my OA and he said each store got a limited number of credits to waive destination fees. He only got 1 and already used it. Apparently they were to encourage people who were on the fence to commit or keep people from backing out.

When my owner specialist called me the day after my online order, he asked me if there's a chance I would back out. At the time I thought that was a very odd/awkward question to ask. Now I have at least a possible reason why he may have asked that question. Darn, I guess I should have said "yes, I'm on the fence" at the time.
Not exactly waived AFAIK, but you can basically subtract the fee via an owner referral discount. Here's my code that's good until mid October for $1,000 off - Referral | Tesla
