Any ideas on the pricing of the custom-fit ones? It looks like $250 for the Model S. If the pricing carries over to the 3, it would be a large premium over this universal one.

Aside from the fit not being custom fit, the grooves and high sides aren't the same which I think will be inferior for trapping snow/water on top of the mat and not spill over the side.

Yup, I totally agree. For me the appeal of the WeatherTech mats is their custom fit. I'll wait for sure.

this is no better than the 15 dollar Goodyear set from Costco that you can cut to fit... works ok in the front, awful in the back. Same with this set

I went ahead and ordered them. I needed something till the custom ones come out. The amount of debris that I track into my cars over the years I needed something besides carpet. My wife’s model x carpets get kinda gross with very little dirt on them. They seem thicker in quality then some of the Audi oem car mats. The Audi oem mats hid dirt better.

Plus I don’t really like vacuuming carpets. Spray water on the rubber mats and ready to go again.

These are much cheaper on Tesla's site. I placed an order early last week and the frunk mat will be shipped soon (label created, but hasn't made it to shipper yet), no details yet on the trunk mat.
