What did you trade in picture thread

Seems like there are a number of petrol heads in the forum, so did anyone trade in something nice and want to post a picture?

I'll start the ball rolling with my trade in - a 2015 BMW M235i convertible

Going to miss this one, but the kids were getting too big to fit in it

2016 XJ Portfolio, I had been waiting for the replacement because that was rumoured to be electric but that was pulled after becoming ~18 months overdue so I decided to go for the M3 to dip my toe in the EV waters (hmmm, that sounds like a bad idea when phrased that way).

M4 Competition. The only thing I really miss is the better handling when really pushing it. Oh, and the heated steering wheel.

Another Portfolio Edition Jag. This car was amazing for long distance runs - did a number of Aberdeen to southern England runs in it, which were glorious.
There are "feel"/handling similarities to the Tesla, but the Model 3 also feels like the future in a way the XK/F-Type (had the latter also on longish loan) cannot.

BMW 5 Series Touring. Brilliant family car and I do miss the boot. But the M3 is just as refined, as plush inside and is way faster on the road.

4 series diesel BMW. I thought it was a great looking, speedy, reliable car. White with red leather… nice. Looking very sad when I left her at Southampton customer centre.

Tessie has a lot to live up to, but I’m impressed so far.

Not strictly a trade in as I sold it back to VW just before taking delivery of my M3SR+ back in September. We had two good summers worth of camping but prices for the VWs were crazy with the dealers offering more than I'd paid for it back in Feb'19.

I miss some of the practicalities but the Tesla is such an excellent daily.

Just to add, there must be a trend here because I also had an XK which I'd sold back in the summer. Great car with effortless performance. The M3 does go a long way to filling that gap however.

Loving the 4 series and M140i

Have had BMWs for years with a m135i and then a 440i

I sold my 440i Gran Coupe about 3-4 weeks ago (jumped at the chance while 2nd hand car prices were silly), beautiful car, will miss the straight 6 noise and the hatch back of the Gran Coupe, but certainly won't miss the fuel and road tax bill on it!

Nah, I regularly got mid 30's over a month for my commute and over 50 on a long run in the XJ.

It does look like a lot of us traded in either a BMW or a JLR vehicle, though.
