Sadly the vehicle has to be in Park to enable valet.
Might be possible to catch him while he stopped for something...

He'll have to stop to charge eventually.

This wasn't listed as an option to vote on, so I voted "other"..

I would report the car stolen to the police and insurance, and hope it never surfaces.

Then, I would buy another Tesla (a newer one!) with the insurance replacement money for the theft coverage I have on the car.

We're not married to these things... another one will do just fine.

ditto - I have good insurance w/gap coverage, so I get a new one... in fact, my phone may break, preventing be from calling the police immediately.
