Need a recommendation....

After reading a lot of threads on wheels, 19" vs 20" vs 21"....it sounds like 20" is the best compromise between ride quality, aesthetics, cost, and longevity of tires. With that said, can anyone make a recommendation for some 20" wheels that go well with Midnight Silver paint? Silver, matte black, glossy black, titanium, other?

My Model S Midnight Silver arrived yesterday. I'm also looking for rims. Will go with 21" for the summer and the 19 for winter.

In this thread there is a Midnight Silver Model S with grey Arachnids.

But what i read so far your statement of the 20" seems the best compromise.

I would go for the 20 only for the ability to put wider on the back. I could not find 19 wider for the back .. like 275 cause I would stick with the 19 for the ride comfort.

Here you go. Niche Misano in Anthracite. 20x9 and 20x10.5, both +35mm. Third pic you can the rears have decent amount of concavity. Second pic is from dawn, but really shows how chrome delete is a must for darker cars.

Very nice. I have thet same color. Midnight silver metallic. I have been looking for pictures with Niche wheels. I was planning on the Niche Misano M117 in 21". The one in you car look great.

By the way. What tints you have in your car ? 20% all around .?

Thanks. 21” will look great, but 20” was a great compromise for me after always running super thin sidewall tires in all of my past cars. Meaty looking tires serve the MS well IMO.
Just std 35% tint, actually.

I assume you are running lowering links? Difficult to install?

Good looking car. Sad that you don't offer the 21" version of this rims. Last year I bought the 19" TST wheels form your site.

those are a great choice. I have 21" grey turbines but the arachnids are hard to argue with. Most of the ones floating around are silver so they'd need powder coating.

I bought them 19" because i had the 21" Turbine. I traded in the car and bought a new one that included another set of 19". Now im looking to buy 21 and sell one of the 19" set

I got the 21" twin turbines with the car (which are being put back on today as my summer set.) If I had to do it over again, I would just order the 19"s and buy the 21" after market look-a-likes.

How do you like them versus the 19? Do you see a big hit in the mileage with the staggered setup? Really love to see the fat tires on the back... I'd assume you are getting better grip in general.
