When Do I Specify My Pickup Location?

I wonder how moving is going to affect your placement. Right now I am in the SoCal online order bucket but in a year I am fully expecting to relocate to Texas. Say I haven't moved yet when I get the configure invite. I don't dilly-dally and order myself a highly optioned top battery model (but maybe not a "P" depending on how pricey those get)

Then I move to TX. If they then put me in the Central delivery bucket after my address changes and I notify the delivery specialist, where do I end up placed? Somewhere near the front due to my prior CA status, or at back of the Central time zone line?

Eh, I gues this will probably end up being one of those unsolved mysteries once we get into delivery mode.

I wondered this as well. There's going to be a good % of us 300k reservationists that move over the next 2-3 years. This will not be an uncommon occurrence. Any people on the X waiting list that had this happen to them and could share a story?

I assume that the billing address of the credit card used for reservation deposit will be the 'delivery address' and also how a reservation gets batched with other geographically similar orders.

It's going to be hard for them to fit that big car into my little tiny post office box.

I think they'll base it on the address on your MyTesla account when you place your order.
