No, but my view is that a nice car does not attract too much attention, but a car carrier delivering said car in a middle class neighborhood definitely does. Most people in my neighborhood will probably have no idea what a Model S costs, but if it shows up on a car carrier, it will be clear that it was expensive.

Isn't that the whole point - making the neighbours green with envy?

Just kidding

Thanks for that pic! No way that is turning into my street wow. I guess it just holds one car! I thought they did multiple deliveries?

I don't think they would be using that particular trailer for regular deliveries.
That said, one never knows.

By the way, I would certainly take delivery at home. By now I have told so many neighbours about Model S that I'm sure they would be more than delighted to be able to ask questions to a Tesla delivery specialist firsthand. Especially as there is no Tesla store for a couple of hundreds of miles.

Thanks, SCW-Greg and Larry Chanin. Those would probably be okay in my neighborhood. The side street by my house isn't very steep and on my side, no house faces it, so there's room for them to pull up right there. In front's a problem due to driveways, the corner, etc. I wonder what the turning radius on those things is, though. I wonder if they check out the area ahead to make sure they don't get stuck, or can they reverse okay? Obsess, obsess, obsess.... ;-)

Yeah, I think the bottom line for me, anyway, is to forget this thread ;-) and when it gets closer, ask the local Teslans (Teslites? Teslars?).

Is that a new race on Star Trek?

Beverly Crusher: "Wait Jean-Luc, don't forget we have to rendevous with the USS Gassux to take aboard the delegation of Teslarians for the conference on electric Warp engines..."

At ExxonMobil head quarters?
