Will autonomous cars be vulnerable while summoning/moving?

I honestly think that an autonomous car at speed will simply try to navigate around an unexpected pedestrian. Many times it's too dangerous for an emergency stop.

This is an old thread, but it was predictable also back then that this pedestrian ( human) behavior will happen against autonomous vehicles. What is your opinion the following:
