Wondering why my Samsung Galaxy A21 won't charge on the charging pad... It's a bizarrely tall phone that barely fits on the area vertically if I remove the protector cover; it fits, but snugly...

I don't have the Model X Plaid yet but have a Model Y LR with the same charge pad and it charges my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra but only if I take the phone out of the case.
Still no luck charging either of my Android phones on Plaid charge pad; they both fit on the pad OK. I-phone charges with no problem; do Androids have to be enabled to use the charge pad or something?

Try putting your phone on the pad upside-down. It could very well be that the charging coils are not lined up properly. (e.g., the coils on the pad are at the bottom, but at the top of the phone)
