Will you be able to always charge 100%

let say a new vehicle charge 100% is 250 miles. Over time, battery will degrade.

If you set to charge 100%, in the future will you never reach that any more and the vehicle will nonstop charge or it will recalibrate to know your new capacity is 95% of actual cell and that becomes the new 100% mark?

Any idea?

It will definitely stop charging when full. I'm pretty sure it will still say 100% only with a lower displayed range.

The 100% is charging to the maximum available capacity, whether that's 250 miles on your brand new pack or 200 miles on a 350,000-mile pack.

You want to set the daily driving range so you cycle around 50% for the longest battery life, according to the research.

There's nothing that you can do other than don't leave it at above 90% for long periods of time and don't subject it to extremely hot conditions or aggressively use max acceleration.

Batteries will degrade over time. Tesla batteries degrade rather slowly compared to some of the competition, but just be mentally prepared to lose something like 5% over a few years and have it level out around there. Not much you can do about it, it's just how the car works.

Try to keep it below 60% charged when not needing the range. Avoid the practice of "topping off" the charge, for example charging to 90% after using 20% and so on. Lithium batteries degrade faster at high state of charge.
