Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Discussion Thread

FIAT can also do something 'special' -It can be 'printed' - BTC cannot. Watch your Dollar debase year on year. Tesla should add to their holdings. Scratch beneath the surface of 'BTC has no intrinsic value' and 'its all a scam'...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Yes possibly, I have also picked up various comments from people that have been selling to buy BTC, Microstrategy and other crypto related bets for some short term wins over the next month or so. There is a good chance that this money will come back to TSLA in a relatively short time frame as a...

Those stock are great-but... There is a possibility that they could all take a not insignificant straight leg down at any time now. The run up has been incredible..

When calculating Cyber reservations - how many do you think were made from other regions? Regions that will likely never ship. The reservation system was open in UK initially - many people placed deposits -did this happen in other countries? How many do we think can be subtracted from the total?

Not sure if its been mentioned on thread or overlooked - Elon said the CT now has full ethernet connectivity between control modules.. This is one of the most important parts of achieving the 'unboxed' assembly. Along with steer by wire - the constraints of traditional wiring loom solved and...

    Something rolling around

I have had stones in my vents for around six months - to get to the vent properly if they have gone right in you need to remove a seat, centre console, and carpet. Today I removed 2 stones from deep inside the vent in a couple of minutes- I didn't expect it to work, and not so quickly. I...

Yes - but you are advocating change from RHD to LHD and I don't understand the potential advantage. The UK imports nearly all of their cars and i'm not sure that it would be cheaper to change whether in Ireland, England, Scotland or the Isle of Wight!

    Off topic galore

The London underground is brilliant - If you use it for social reasons- evenings out- daytime sight seeing, weekend shenanigans etc.. I love it and have grown up with it- however as Mr Meister says, between 7am and 10 am or 3pm to 7pm it is very often hell, especially in warm weather (anything...

In the UK we still have very high priced Electricity which quite a few people have mentioned to me as a factor for delaying the move to BEV.... I think KWh prices have reduced on the continent? but not here.

over 12 thousand miles and nearly a years ownership of Model Y

I've now done 15k since March and my experience is parallel to yours. I would not hesitate to make the same choice again and I have had A LOT of cars in the last 35 years.. One of the reasons I don't frequent this forum anymore is the amount of negativity towards the cars- for a while it made me...
