Excellent point about double checking all the information that Tesla sends over for approval. Ducks, row, go. If Tesla really wants to sell me a car before the end of Q2, they'll make it happen. I'm trying to not get too emotionally invested. Finances first.

I'm figuring Tesla either get their ducks in a row or not. They have far more incentive to sell me a car at this moment in time than I do to buy one. The MYLR at that price ticked my boxes. That said I'm willing to walk away if Tesla can't hold up their end of the contract.

Life is too short to have regrets. If you can afford to take the financial depreciation hit, get something else. Those complaints can be addressed. Except for the slow fast charging. Tires, suspension, sound deadening and weather stripping. But if it doesn't work, it's even more regret.

I track fuel mileage in my ICE car. A normal spring day at 62 mph gets 42 mpg or so. A headwind knocks that down to the upper 30's. Rain reduces fuel economy to the low to mid 30's. It's how the physics of it work. Rain needs more energy to move out of the way of the car.

I ordered the Tesla mobile charger. No messing with anti-Karen rings on the car end for adapters. There's nothing stopping a Karen or Ken from flipping the breaker off or unplugging it but that's an issue for all mobile chargers.
