Check each speaker individually using the balance. When I did that, I noticed my left rear speaker wasn't working. Tesla replaced under warranty.

Had service appointment and it's a faulty speaker. They didn't bring a new speaker, so a new appointment has to be made to install a new one!

I am having a problem with the rear left speaker in the door not working. Diagnosed as a faulty speaker, Tesla should be replacing under warranty, anyone had any speaker issues? This is SR+ car. I urge all to check their speakers

It's a 06 plate silver grey convertible, SMG gearbox. Red leather interior. The SMG gearbox has some detractors, but it's been trouble free so far! Had it since 2012!

Service technician told me that the plastic welded seam at top of the light was compromised allowing water ingress when he changed mine. Apparently this has been improved in the new units. I could actually see it too, when shown side by side!

Check Sandy Munro's tear down of the Model Y on Youtube. Casted back end means it made from an aluminum welded cast pieces on the Model 3. Back end on the new Model Y has a single plastic insert.

One possibility is to buy a good quality wash mitt and bucket. When using public hand car wash, instruct them to use fresh water and shampoo in your own bucket, and use your own wash mitt. Use a good quality drying towel too. You are only using their labour! After all that you may as well wash...
