Got my sock today, looks great! Pulled the HEPA filter, running the sock only. Now that I have the sock I can say I’m confident that nothing big enough to be a problem in the evaporator coil will get through.

Just for the record, in a new 2020 Model S, I spent some time looking and could not find true switched power at the rear view mirror. Plenty of constant power. There is also power up there for the camera, which *is* switched off when the car is off, as long as sentry mode is not enabled...
