Happened to me too. Then the car arrived earlier than anticipated and the team at my Tesla centre were great and moved the delivery to the next morning for me. Happy camper - and no more BMW’s in my driveway

On what vehicle? On my 2018 X5 the doors just worked no matter if someone slammed them or pushed it almost closed and it finished the job.

There doesn't seem to be a single VIN cut off. Colour configuration etc.. seem to play a part in a wide variation of VIN assignment during this transition. BTW my VIN doesn't show on my Tesla Account either - but my SA emailed it to me, so I could organize insurance ahead of delivery.

There are a couple out there. North Shore Racks for example. Even lighter, and better priced. However I have come to really appreciate the Yakima foot pedal release to change angles etc... hence will keep my two bike platform for road and CX bikes. With me kids we all ride MTB bikes.

With the case of hitch mounted bike/storage racks the "vertical weight" figure is simply an attempt to simplify for mass consumption that there is a huge difference between the cantilevered force applied by a floating bike rack, and the direct tongue weight applied by a trailer for example...

Doesn’t every manufacturer do that? Back in the day my M3 made it back from European Delivery to Ottawa Canada in April wearing its PS2’s and there is still snow in April here.

My VIN took longer to get and is lower than you and others waiting for delivery in the next ~week. (1241xx). Perhaps because of time to ship to East (and Canada) as discussed elsewhere. I’m mentally preparing myself to receive one of the last ‘classic’ MYP’s.
