I had a similar problem a bunch of months ago when I had it installed. Had to do it over and over again until I got it to take. I think the trick is connecting your phone to the actual Tesla charging unit in making the connection to your wifi.

Do we all not get the software updates at the same time? My car is set to advanced and on WiFi and I haven‘t been prompted to upgrade yet.

For those that have taken delivery, how many miles did it take you to calibrate? Took delivery end of June, unfortunately I had a defective battery that needed to be replaced. After about 3 weeks, finally have my car back. Have about 120 miles on it but still not calibrated.

Agreed it is but can I ask you how functional that really is to the every day driver? The LR 0-60 is pretty scary on its own, I’m not sure how much more I even want. Yes, I concede its in a different league, I am happy in this case to be in AAA.

No, sounds like they had a bigger issue then I did. I just received a warning that Max charge level has been reduced. Then car wouldn’t accept a charge. Those were my only symptoms. It appears they are treating my situation with care and caution.

I paid $6,500 for full car PPF and ceramic coating. XPEL Ultimate was the PPF. I was quoted a price back in March when I thought I was getting the car of $5,900. Was told this is a busier time of the year and costs have gone up.

It’s more than that just a protection of the paint. The combination of a good PPF and Ceramic coating will make your car look better than it did when you took delivery and will look the same way for years to come. Thats what you are paying for and for me, well worth it.

A notification showed on the dash saying Maximum Charge Level Reduced, then when I tried to connect charger it wouldn’t take a charge. They took me right in at the local service center. The car drove perfectly, it was that I was down to 120 miles of charge and no ability to add range.

Service guy assured me of the urgency to them and the Fremont Engineering team to get this resolved as quickly as possible. I am sure they are also trying to figure out what the issue was. I am sure they want to make sure this is a 1 in 1,000,000 instance while they are ramping up production...

Yes, I would agree, this is a better alternative. With that said, for a car that costs over $100k, probably shouldn’t have this issue so quickly. I also advised that if its a refurbished battery, they can keep the car, I will only accept a brand new battery.

Update, just heard from service center and car needs a new battery. Will take about a week or two to get back. Kind of scary that a battery failed on a new car with less than 100 miles on it.

What I can tell you is the car is just as quick from 60-100 as it is 0-60. Sounds like the the 3.1 list for the LR is more accurate than the 1.99 listed for the Plaid.
