Falkor has landed! A few minor issues, some dirt on the 3rd row seats, a panel gap on the interior rear door, and the small gouge on the front fascia. I had to drive almost 100 miles but made it to my brothers house before hitting that and submitted my ticket for service.

We have a Stihl leaf blower and chainsaw. The leaf blower is super easy to use, I haven’t tried the chainsaw yet. It’s nice to have one battery that works for both of them too.

Heading to pick up my demo now. The delivery center called and said they found a small gouge in the front fascia, but they don’t have the part to replace it in stock. Asked if I wanted to still pick up with it and have it fixed later or wait on delivery. He sent me a picture. I’m still picking...

I was checking every day, multiple times per day. I am very impatient. Plus, I was already paying 10k for FSD, so might as well get one with a few thousand miles now.

They just called me and said I can pick up today! Now to get to Stockton today! My boss was fine with me taking off from the hospital even though it’s my first day back after 2 weeks off!

NorCal too. I picked up a demo one with all my specs. 5 minutes after every other one with my specs was gone.

I snagged one with my specs. I missed the one with the lowest miles (670) but grabbed one with 2576 if I remember correctly. Am I going to regret ordering a demo vehicle?? Lol

I chatted with Tesla about the "wait list" for an inventory/demo car and they added it to the notes on my account. We will see if it works in getting me a car faster. LOL

After 3 weeks of having an EDD in September, for 6 days before this switch it was 9/27-9/30, it has moved to Nov 28-Dec 18. I know it’s more realistic with my OD….

Welp, my luck with having a fast EDD shifted this morning. I went from September 27-30, where it had been for about a week, to November 28-December 19. For the last 3 weeks I had been in September 19-30 +/- 1 day on the front end.

Mine went from 9/27-9/30 to 11/28-12/19. 😔

There are some theories about making batches of certain specs and I happen to be in a batch that is supposed to be finished EOQ. We will see. I’m not holding my breath until I have a VIN. Although, I did order the mud flaps, wheel locks, and chargers.

My EDD has been holding steady this week at 9/27-9/30......

Welp, I did the chat thing, Matt, the agent, said he can't see anything different than what I can see on my account for my EDD of 9/27-9/30.

I thought about chatting to confirm my small window EDD, but I don't want to get the message like, Oh, this is wrong, your EDD shouldn't be there, we see your car being built in November, not September. 😂

Yeah, it was amazing. I booked 24 hours before the parade and was able to get a room at The Logan, right on the parade route!

I would say, if you think you may regret it, just do it. I didn't want to have a scenario where I would have wanted to use it and didn't get it.

That is, unless mine actually pans out. If my delivery is by 9/30, as the EDD says right now, my wait will have been 48 days.....

Cool. I got the 7 seater even though I don’t have kids. I have nephews that are still in car seats, but I like the option. I do know a lot of smaller humans too. Lol

It depends on the state. All states except these need the VIN on the insurance.
