As another re-VINNED person (Melb) I am telling myself that they did it so I would get delivery earlier. (No objective reason, but it makes me feel better)

My VIN showed up on REVS last Wed (14th). THEN Tesla kindly changed my VIN for a vehicle made 2 weeks later (13th Dec) and now no VIN on REVS on the new VIN. New EDD is 11/1 - 1/2.

Or maybe they offloaded my original VIN in Bris because it was going to take ages to get to Melb anyway due to shipping delays (which may be quarantine or other).

Good question. Mine would not come up for ages but now it does. It still doesn't come up on Vic Roads though and EDD still not until after Jan 11th.

OD 17/3. BUILD 28/11. Melb. For the last 10 days I have been EDD "TBA". Tonight, for the first time, my VIN came up in: https://www.carhistory.com.au BUT nothing comes up on the VicRoads Vin search. I guess that means something but not sure precisely what. Any ideas?

Got a build date today of 28/11. RWD vanilla. Is that the latest build date we have seen? There have been a few 22/11 that I have noticed.

Previous EDD: Jan 5 - Jan 19 (given monday) New EDD today: Dec 15 - Dec 29 6 m3 available in stock in Melb.

I just filled in the form, went back to the spreadsheet and refreshed and it was there almost immediately.

Got my updated EDD today January 05 - 19. Melbourne. Registration papers to fill out came at the same time and included the VIN. Did NOT get an email re the reg papers. OD. 17/3/22 RWD white/black Now to fil out the spreadsheet...

I am sure they will put it on a helicopter and fly it in before the ship docks because we all know that Tesla are absolutely committed to their estimated delivery times, perhaps, maybe???? ;):confused::)

True. Every vehicle is a compromise (especially in the suspension). The old 2F Landcruiser that I used to own would beat a Ferrari if I got to choose the course. You choose what is important to you and live with the rest of the things that don't perfectly suit.

The ALP's own page actually cites the Nissan Leaf as their example. AFAIK they are made in Japan so the 5% does not apply to them either! If you could import a Tesla from Berlin you would get 5% off (after they first added it on!) Seems like a "generous" incentive.

Same here. My Vic ZEV subsidy now expires 11th Jan. RWD White/Black Ordered 17/3 App says EDD 6-9 months. Hopefully the govt will extend further if needed. We are not the only ones in this situation.
