I don't think it can be earlier than this - unless you pick a car from inventory. Currently, Order date to actual delivery time is around 2 months for custom ordered Model Y for Ontario delivery.

It should change the displayed range based on size of wheels. Each time you make a change in wheel size on the screen, the car reboots and then after booting up, displays range as per that particular wheel size.

I think Elon mentioned that FSD transfer is still valid for a few days after end of September....a reasonable number of days (or something to that effect) if delivery of the new car gets delayed by a few days.

Not so fast. It'll probably take a few weeks. But it's still faster than fulfillment of a custom order which can take about a couple of months of wait or longer. Talk to your Sales Agent for more precise estimate for inventory vehicle delivery date, if you need it early.

They seem to do that quite frequently.... Last year when I got my Model X, I found Ownership Certificate with a different person's name on it...lol... Apparently, that VIN was assigned to someone else while car was delivered to me... and they failed to change the documentation before delivery...

I think they used to provide such updates in 2016s sand 2017s... I remember that one of my friend purchased a Model X that time and used to tell me exact progress of his vehicle. So, it can be done, if Tesla wishes!

You're lucky to already have a VIN assigned. I ordered on July 7th... No hidden VIN yet. EDD is currently showing as Sep 7-21.

My understanding is that the 2 piece one is more sturdy and durable and the separation is not visible as it is completely behind the screen. But of course, it is individual preference and choice. To me, it's fit and finish seems to be good.

With HW4, you will get 1 less front camera (one of the front cameras is replaced by a dummy) and I read in an article where it was shown that the RAM on HW4 cars is also of a cheaper quality. I'm okay with getting HW3... ;-) (Waiting eagerly for delivery scheduling message from Tesla).
