I was texted a request this morning to confirm a June delivery of an LR. I withdrew the order. I am going to wait for a Lucid Air Touring at this point.

Got it a couple of hours ago for a P3D+ with FSD, but not for our S90D AP1.

Michelin makes an Acoustic PS 3 for Tesla. Great tire and very quiet.

The IQ7+ has an output limit 20 percent higher than the IQ7. I would ask the installer why they did not use the 7+. There is virtually no cost difference.

You will get better efficiency with these panels using Enphase IQ7+ microinverters. I have the LG Neon R panels, 360 watt, and am losing only about 10% to clipping during the summer.

I have 360 watt panels and Enphase IQ7+s. I get some clipping with the 7+s. Which Version of the Enphase micro do you have?

I had 2 Powerwalls, 26 LG Neon R panels and 26 Enphase IQ7+s installed last year. The system works perfectly. There was a Powerwall inverter firmware issue early on that created a problem when the batteries were at 100%, the grid was down and the panels were producing current. That was solved...

There is now a 19” Tesla spec PS3 with foam that is much quieter than the stock Primacy. Handles better, but not usable in cold temperatures. I have them on a SoCal car. Just no winter Big Bear or Mammoth trips.

The PS3s that are Tesla spec have acoustic foam and are much quieter than the original Primacy that were OEM. My wife and I both like the new tires, and the steering response is much better over the stock tire.

When the pumps malfunction a unit will not output at 5kw for more than a few minutes, and then it throttles down to about 1kw of output. Had both of my Feb. 2018 installs replaced in early December. The replacements are remanufactured units.

Living in SoCal, just had the Tesla spec Pilot Sport 3 Acoustic’s installed. They are much quieter than the original Primacys. I don’t throw the Model S around much, but these feel like they have more positive steering response.

You can island with IQ 6s and 7s, if you have a battery back-up like the Tesla. I have had both and it works fine in that regard. IQ8s will allow off grid operation without battery back-up. That is the huge advantage the IQ8s will have in reducing the cost of islanding. Of course, without a...

Check out the LG Neon Rs. I have their 355 watt panel from a year ago, 26 of them. They are almost as efficient as the SunPowers, same warranty and a good bit less expensive. They work great with Enphase IQ7+ micro-inverters.

I have two PW2s, but also two AC systems. The 4t compressors (Carriers) are the newer variable type and have very low initial draw. No problems so far running them off the PW2s.

My firmware was updated to 1.28 today. There are no notes yet on this release so I don't know what if anything changed.

Thanks, I will check this when I next charge a car in the evening. Its the only time my system needs to go above 6kw, short of running the air and the electric oven at the same time.

I do not have visibility at the individual level. All that I know is one of the two is powering down when house demand is at 10kw. Within 15 minutes of such demand the system cycles down to 5+ kw. Tesla monitored the behavior and thinks it’s one of the two batteries. So we will see when they...

That’s a great point. One of my two is about to be replaced bacause it won’t maintain a 5kw output. If it’s the one on the right, I suspect Tesla is going to need to look at installation issues. The right unit on multi-unit side by side installations is always going to be sucking warm air...

Also received .40.1 this afternoon. The display of other vehicles is kind of wonky. Occasionally, the vehicle next to me is displayed 50% on top of my vehicle icon. Vehicles in the display oscillate randomly as well. Have not use AP yet in this version.

Just received and executed the update notice for my P3D. It was on .36.2, so I am assuming I will get some version of V9. My S90D AP1 has been on V9 since it’s introduction and was updated to .40 yesterday.

Avoid AP1 90Ds for battery degradation. My 90% charge is down to 233 miles. Tesla claims this is a normal level of degradation.

I received 2018.40 this afternoon from .39.6, for my AP1 S90D. I still have not received any version of V9 for a P3D.

I have seen the same behavior, but mine started with 1.23.0. Not sure that the reduced charge rate kicked in at 90% on mine. May have been earlier. Since 1.23, my discharge rate when 10kw is called for also kicks down to 5-6kw, and reverts to grid for the remainder until the batteries hit...

I don’t think that 2018.36 is a prerequisite to V9. My AP1 S went to 9 from 2018.34.

Got my car back yesterday from Doug and was told I was 19.

Got 39.6 for my S90D AP1, but still on 36.2 for the P3D+.

I was updated to 1.23.0 today as well. I hope it resolves an issue with 1.22.1 that seemed to limit the input and output of my two PowerWalls to 5kw/h.

I had the same front bumper mis-alignment at pickup and it was corrected while we waited.
