Fake (old) news? Tesla Set to Unveil Front Bumper Camera and Ambient Lights for Model S/X

I have a Mar 18 2024 build, and no front camera / ambient lights. I had delayed the order when I heard the rumor early in March, but finally gave in because I didn't want to lose my FSD / UFSC transfers. And now, it appears Tesla has not yet begun installing either feature on the S or X as of...

Expired Tesla FSD Package - Transfer to NEW Tesla delivered by 3/31/24 [Deleted]

They absolutely do in CA...just went through the process today. The car having the feature removed had to be registered in the name used on the registration of the newly purchased vehicle. Maybe it's different in WI due to local regulations.

Expired Tesla FSD Package - Transfer to NEW Tesla delivered by 3/31/24 [Deleted]

Unless both vehicles are registered to the purchaser / owner of the original vehicle, Tesla will not transfer FSD (or UFSC). The details of this offer are spelled out in great detail in the transfer agreement if you want to see all the conditions for yourself.

    FSD V12 Elon Demo

I guess I'm finally emotionally burned out after 7 years of FSD hype, using HW1, HW2, and HW3.....I appreciate the monumental task Tesla has taken on trying to make FSD a reality, given some of the ridiculous personal limitations Elon has placed on the sensor suite it can use, and his endless...

Can this nail puncture be repaired?

As an professional automotive customizer / off-road vehicle upfitter for over 4 decades, I would say you are incorrect on your assessment on many accounts. The puncture is almost directly at the flex point of the tread (most certainly less than one inch from the effective sidewallt), and is not...

The only thing keeping me from upgrading to a newer Tesla is that we can't transfer FSD, anyone else?

It is absolutely NOT the same thing. (And I get that intellectual property, i.e. software, can be considered the same as a tangible product in certain instances) 1) The sound system, sunroof, wheels, or any physical options you purchase as an upgrade are 100% functional from the day you receive...

    FSD/AP display on center screen?

The software version is 2022.36.20, which is the root for FSD Beta 10.69.3.1 - so you have the latest FSD Beta release as of right now

    FSD/AP display on center screen?

I think he is asking can the FSD display be put onto the larger 17" center display of the Model S, instead of just the front instrument cluster display. I've been requesting this since FSD started, as the display on my wife's Model 3 provides much more information in an easier to see size - but...

Please Relocate Turn Signal icon to make more visible

The audible noise for the turns signals is not very distinct, and difficult to hear over the sound system. The purpose of having a visual indicator directly in front of the driver is to make him aware, and my opinion is that is not currently very effective. In fact, the flashing white arrow...

FSD completely [almost] stops the car on a road

I've had my car slow down dramatically while in AP or FSD on the freeways multiple times since getting FSD Beta (I'm on 2022.20.19 - 10.69.2.4). I usually get a message saying "Poor camera visibility - reducing Autopilot speed", and then the car proceeds to slow down to almost a stop (I've never...

Please Relocate Turn Signal icon to make more visible

I have a 2017 Model S with FSD. The FSD visualization makes it very difficult to discern the turn signal icon, which appears as a green dot among all the other multi-colored icons in the display. The inner flashing arrow almost disappears on the already very busy. It would be great, IMO, if...

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

I replaced the original "B" headlights in my 2017 S90D with the "G" revision, with no problems whatsoever. The Matrix headlights should use a different part number altogether, not just a revision of the original LED headlight part number used since 2016.5.

Tesla Is Finally Updating Its Autopark Feature by The End of This Month

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

No one said Tesla is selling small batches to EBay sellers....Tesla transitioned to a new production unit, and the supplier had overstock of the old units. Karpathy leaves - what's next for AP/FSD?

Maybe Karpathy felt his contribution to the job was done. Most brilliant folks I watch have a narrow focus of interest. Setting up a functional FSD architecture may have been his. "Take control immediately" (not using any Autopilot features)

Tesla needs to have these critical warning messages stay on the screen long enough to read them. AP2 SIDE REPEATER CAMERAS, MODEL S

AP2 SIDE REPEATER CAMERAS, MODEL S

The Model Y cameras are plug and play on my 2017 Model S with AP2 / MCU2 upgrade / HW3 upgrade. AP1 vehicles do not have repeater cameras - they use the Mobileye processor with front camera only, so you cannot add repeater or B-pillar cameras to that system.
