Have a 2017 X and it has been way less maintenance and repair cost than any of my other high end cars. Sure something will fail but it has been very rare for me. For instance just this month got the 12v battery message, got it replaced, first time since I bought it in 2017.

From a 2017 owner I can save everyone the hassle. Buy Pirelli from tire rack. Better ride, less road noise, better grip, better wear, and road hazard fix for life. Contis are the worst you can put on a MX.

Have had Zero AS in northeast winters and I can confirm they do NOT suck. Snow grip is great and with a few nor’easters this year ran on plenty of puddles with excellent grip. On a new set and they are much quieter than the stock Conti.

Have the cold weather package on my 2017MX and it is fantastic when winter storms hit. I garage it at home but when you are out and its cold it really makes a difference.

Had a leak early when I bought it(2017). Service center replaced the gaskets and to this day never have water drip in, even when I open the doors in a downpour. See if they can replace your gaskets.

Recently put Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on my 2017MX. Amazed with the ride and reduced noise compared to the factory Conti silent. Grip is great and they are a bit ‘softer’ so the ride is more comfortable. So far I don’t see any efficiency loss. Pretty happy with them.

Like I said AP2 and MCU1 upgraded as I wrote. Early 2017 MX. It is what they delivered at the time. Got my camera upgrades already (early adopter) and it is solid.

I fall into AP2.0 to HW3and MCU1 to MCU2 and just got it tonight. Safety Score 98. will drive it tomorrow and report back. So thrilled to finally get it.

Not sure of the issue. I could back any car in a garage, no matter the make or model. The fact that my Tesla provides all sorts of warnings does not mean it won’t fit. If you are relying on sensors to drive your car maybe you should not be driving at all. Use your eyes for God’s sake. Sheesh!

I have a tight garage door too. I back it in and put some small black tape lines on the garage floor to line up my wheels on. With the side mirrors pointed down when in reverse I can back in quickly without worrying about hitting the door frame. Just line up on the tape and easy breezy.

I understand you may get some of the visualizations with HW3 more than with HW2.5 but the FSD features will not be software enabled unless you pay for FSD. It is kind of like buying a 64bit computer but only running 32bit software on it. All that power but not used.
