After 24 hrs without the app working, i decided to logout and log back in and that worked. So ignore my earlier post of not to logout.

Good question. I don't think you'll be able to get the key to connect because you won't be able to get into the app, since authentication is performed on the server, which is having issues. DON'T LOGOUT is my recommendation

close the app. cycle the blue tooth. Mine too didn't start the car used my card key and the car worked fine. after that the BT connected the phone and the app shows the key as connected...nothing else in the app works.

rebooted the phone...no change...still can't connect

Closed the app a number of time...didn't restart the phone...will try that.

At first I had to used my card to start the car, but now the BT seems to work in the app and the car starts as normal. None of the other functionality in the app works...it just keeps spinning showing the last update time of 10:14 AM CDT.

Roch_h, not sure how this is mis information...the source is from Tesla's adapter kit (Gen 2 NEMA Adapters), and if you go to Tesla's site for the wall connector it too states that a 60A circuit is needed for the mdl 3 extend range battery, S & X.

JetFalcon, those questions are for u to answer. I can recommend though if wire run from the box to the outlet is >75' have them use 6 gauge instead of 8. The wall charger needs a 60Amp circuit while the NEMA 14-50R needs a 50A circuit. If i ever want to spend the added $500 for the wall...
