2017 Model X 100D or 2018 Model X 75D

I am looking for any guidance on what we should purchase.

We currently have 2 options:

2017 100D (Manufactured in July 2017) - $41,000
Mileage: 68,000
Red Exterior
6 Seater - Black interior
Autopilot: 2.0 Computer
Enhanced Autopilot

I know for the one above, we will likely have to upgrade to the MCU2 (this is what I have read in multiple forums)

2018 75D (Manufactured in Nov 2018) - $38,300
Mileage: 52,000
White Exterior
6 Seater - Cream Interior
Autopilot: 2.5 Computer
Enhanced Autopilot
Upgraded Wheels

For this one, there is a huge crack in the window above the falcon wing door. I heard it costs around $1200 to replacement.

With the above being said, we are having a hard time deciding which one is a better buy knowing that both need work in some capacity. We are family of 4 and don't drive super long distances. We have been know to take a few trips that are anywhere from 2-3 hours away maybe 1x a quarter.

1000% do the 100D (I own a '17 100D).
Pay to get the infotainment upgraded as it makes the car feel 'new'. I would do it again 1000 times over it was different.

We have a 75D, but I wish it was a 100D. Easy choice, go with the 100D.

The 75D has "upgraded" wheels? Probably the 22s like we used to have. I sold them to get a little range back (moved to 20s). A 75D on 22" Turbines is a HOG and our "downgraded" one still is but a little less so now.

And a $41k price now makes me want to cry, but good for you. Just be prepared to fix a lot out of warranty, as we have.

Good choice. Don’t be scared by out of warranty, we have had no issues with our 6/17.

100D for certain. Much better investment. The MCU upgrade should you decide to do it also includes the HW3 autopilot computer.

100d. I own a 75D. Not a lot of warranty. I did replace the charge port is all
