Yeah, unclear what the 80 mph vibration is. My 2021 didn't have it, but every 2022+ loaner S/X I drove had it.
My 2023 doesn’t have it. Tbd if it develops with a few more miles.
@sorka and I were speculating it might have something to do with the combo of fixed calipers and fixed rotors since seemingly people who got the track pack had their vibrations cured.

Does it vibrate above 80 or exactly 80? The 35-50 mph vibration is pretty much history. Thankfully. I did not see any issues with it regarding acceleration performance being sacrificed. Car still is terrifying.

Mine was almost 80 on the dot and any speed after that
I honestly don't think this can be fixed with software. Seems like a front motor issue. Motor mounts? Oil?

Software is full of wonders. You can fix it by switching off the front motor or modulating it, like has been done in track mode.

There was a change for 2024 and the new cars are getting lighter weight oil. We'll see if that helps.

2021 MSLR to the moon
I had the 80mph vibration in my model S refresh and it ended up being foam separation in one of the tires. Apparently, there is sound dampening foam that can come loose. Tesla replaced the tire under warranty.

I've fixed the rear seat rattle, and I don't notice the whine anymore. Just vibes and from end creaking at low speeds. I guess I can live with that, updated sig. accordingly...
Just got the track pack, and still got the vibration at 80mph. So thats not the solution. I also mentioned it to Tesla service and they basically told me there was no solution. At least I have working (non warped) brakes now again. These track pack brakes make a massive difference. Just got to live with the vibration.

Oh man. That's a bummer. I was hoping the track pack would solve all the vibrations.
Disclaimer though. I didn't get the track package wheels. Have the standard Arachnids on. Can't imagine it making a difference. But who knows.
No I did not. But when I let go of the throttle the vibration stops. So i dont think it has anything to do with foam being loose. Im pretty sure its something in the front motor. I'll do some testing with track mode enabled and rear bias when I have time.

The software update definitely helped mine and changed it a bit. Definitely still there though, just not all the time. I can usually coax it to vibrate. Thankfully it is very minor on my car and doesn't bother me much.
