Got my VIN today along with a request for my bank information for full final payment. Sorry if this question is addressed somewhere else, but I couldn't find it. Here goes.

I ordered in early December before the refresh was announced. When we reconfigured, we were told there would be a $2,000 credit because of the price having increased over our original order. Has anyone gotten that? If so, how did it work, was the final payment amount reduced or some other form of credit issued? Any help on this would be appreciated since as you might imagine, I'm eager to get me hands on the car!

I didn't have this, but others have had this applied as a $2k credit in their MVPA. I'd reach out and push for a revised final.

It will come across as ‘Referral Credit’ on final docs. Tesla has held true on this $2k commitment as far as we can tell.

Go to the App Store App then on the upper right, click on your avatar. Then scroll down to see the App updates that are in que. if you don’t see the Tesla app update, then pull down and hold to refresh the menu. It should pop up for you

I totally understand. I was just very lucky. I worked with a SR that worked hard monitoring the inventory availability. I know you’re passionate about Teslas. I had a 2018 MX, then 2020 MY. Also, I have a Cybertruck reservation too. I’ll send my good luck your way to share. Maybe things are moving along now… And as the saying goes, all good things come to those who waits. Beautiful. Quick question. Is the material below the door handle in pic 4 (framing the cup holder) soft material or hard plastic? It doesn’t look like the black vegan on the handle, but hoping it is not hard plastic.

It’s actually vegan leather framing the door cup holder on the outside. The inside of the cup holder area (just the opposite side) is actually, alcantara. Impressive… the whole area is soft to the touch. Even the bottom area of the cup holder has some give to it. The only firm plastic is the inside of the door handle which is good for wear and tear.

Apologies for being slightly off topic, but I didn’t find any answer in other threads.

Can any new owners confirm the charge rate of the refreshed MSLR? Existing Model S charges at 23miles/32amp, 29miles/40amp and 34miles/48amp. Does the new model charge faster?

My EDD has been stable for a couple weeks now: November 02 - November 22

Of course with my luck, November 2nd is also the day that the California Clean Fuel Rebate drops from $1,500 to $750.

California Clean fuel rebate of $1500 applies to sales completed through 11/1. Thereafter it reduces to $750. Obviously new orders on Tesla site with delivery estimate of April/May of 2022 would qualify for only $750 which is what Tesla is currently showing.

A few years back, something similar happened, and Tesla lowered the price of their vehicle to match the loss. I have my doubts that would happen again. My EDD is 10/28-11/17. I don’t think I’ll make it.

I'm in CA, with a RN1150, and have been holding Dec 10-30. MSLR White, Black 19 NOFSD. Seems late for my RN number comparing to a few of you guys,

It is strange. Same RN and I have been showing the same dates for almost 2 weeks now. Cautiously optimistic. No VIN yet. Maybe they are stacking west coast deliveries for year end deliveries.
