It seems that EDDs are updated early morning, around 5 AM PST. VINs appear at any timeHas anyone here seen their account change later on in the day after already checking late morning? Just wondering if Tesla only updates accounts in the morning which seems to be the case
FYI, the only numbers needed are the NF and the following 3 digits. The 5YJSA1E56 is the same for everyoneMy EDD changed today after recieving my 2022 VIN (5YJSA1E56NFXXXXXX) yesterday. My current EDD is 12/3/21 – 12/6/21 as of 11/18/21...
Thanks. Anyone know if VINs are typically assigned after the build has been completed? It seems that EDDs are updated early morning, around 5 AM PST. VINs appear at any time
I've found my Tesla updates often to be random and not following a specific schedule, although more often than not more than 24 hours between changes...Has anyone here seen their account change later on in the day after already checking late morning? Just wondering if Tesla only updates accounts in the morning which seems to be the case
A VIN is assigned as soon as it rolls of the end of the assembly line and is matched to an order. Not before.Thanks. Anyone know if VINs are typically assigned after the build has been completed?
Ok so this would line up to what the SA told me that it’s currently being builtA VIN is assigned as soon as it rolls of the end of the assembly line and is matched to an order. Not before.

He said he does not have a VIN. Maybe he has been assigned one and he just can't see it yet. @BlueOwl , try launching Chrome and install the Tesla VIN Finder extension.
Awesome. Again, just need NF and the following 3 digits. The preceeding digits are the same for everyone. N = 2022 F = Fremont, and the rest are assigned in order of build. 3 digits are enough to give us an estimate of build date. Your are likely 458Tesla VIN finder found: 5YJSA1E58NFXXXXXX. Cool, looks like a 2022. Delivery Nov 24-Dec 1.
Thanks!I posted this information before but for those of you who either don’t have an SA or have one who is not responsive, try calling this number: (888) 518-3752
Follow the prompts for a new car delivery. I’ve had pretty good luck historically getting a knowledgeable person on the phone. If you have a pretty tight delivery window right now they might be able to see if your config is going into production
More than likely. You probably have a VIN waiting for you in your account.Just got an email that final payment is ready. EDD 11/19-11/29. RN1147
Does this mean im finally getting my car?
Yes!! I got the VIN!!More than likely. You probably have a VIN waiting for you in your account.
Yep, I've got the same issue. @Clubprodigy as well. We were told it's related to the center console and it's for our specific cars, possibly because of the specific components they used to build them. The last I heard is the update would be released yesterday, but I haven't followed up on it with Tesla yet. I've got a delivery set for 11/20 at 5pm that I have to hit, as I have a road trip starting the following day.Delivery date and appointment scheduled for 11AM on 11/20. Just got a message from Tesla saying that the delivery date is cancelled due to a pending software update... new delivery date range is 11/18 - 11/22. Anyone else have their delivery delayed due to this update?
