My rev G (3rd yoke) has held up fine. Hopefully they made some real improvements. It does seem a bit tougher to me.I’ve heard from others that say it’s exactly the same, and that even the G revisions fall apart.

And they’re correct. There is no airbag-press horn.I had my yolk steering when replaced today (3/22/23) and they did not add an airbag horn like people are saying. I asked the tech and he said it's still just a button on the wheel.... had no idea what I was talking about.
Is that a yoke or a squared off wheel ... squeel?V2 yoke is coming this summer with improved material . Could we get free replacement again if our v1 peel off again?
Hope eternal cost a lot more in dissatisfaction than the $700 instant satisfaction replacement cost.Yoke is a piece of sh*t - my hope is that they'll offer free wheel replacements once the initial demand is over.
Yup, the loud majority that won't accept other opinions as relevant. I bought a Feb 2022 MSLR. I never test drove one and only looked at 'em on the road. I did read some TMC before buying, but it did not affect me one way or the other. I'm with you and wanted to experience the MS myself. I was (still am) excited about the tech and something new (OTA updates are awesome). It took me just a few trips around the parking lot to love regen one pedal driving. I love the yoke and would never consider the round wheel retrofit. However, I did put a raised clear button on the horn and that's it. All the talk about crossing arms and cant find the buttons does not affect me. I did not get used to the car, I "learned" how to drive it. My two previous cars were Corvettes. Its been 14 months and still loving the Model S. It's the best car I've ever owned and will never go back to an ICE vehicle. What I learn about threads like this is that if I follow “the majority” (which supposedly hates the yoke) without forming my own opinion and trying it myself, I’d be wrong.
I already paid $600 for the yoke completer (Tesla 2022 Yoke Completer — Aftershock Garage Tesla & EV Services) which ate my budget for the replacementHope eternal cost a lot more in dissatisfaction than the $700 instant satisfaction replacement cost.
That looks terrible it's not even fully connectedI already paid $600 for the yoke completer (Tesla 2022 Yoke Completer — Aftershock Garage Tesla & EV Services) which ate my budget for the replacement
