I rarely used the front due to this, and the potential for damage to the hood.

Tesla Offer has a power frunk kit. Easy install and now I use my frunk all the time.

I went with the Tesla Offer version and love it. Now I actually use my frunk.

I have the Tesla Offer version on my Model 3, which works reliably all the time. It getting so that I just used it spontaneously for gratification

Have ordered a Model S Plaid Plus and inquired to Raymond at Tesla Offer if the previous Model S version will work with the the refreshed versions of Model S. He was hesitant to assure that it would, and my guess is that he’ll try the old hardware with the refreshed versions before accepting orders for a refreshed version.
