steam is only S/X refresh, not all AMD vehicles? Are the AMD/Ryzen model 3/Y a lot less powerful? Thats a shame and really limits the usefulness to only a handful of vehicles (relatively)
media control is interesting - so you get more space back on the map screen, but also now if you scroll up you’re covering the traffic visualisatoin? honestly I don’t mind that so may leave the music player in expanded or semi-expanded more often.. main reason I always kept it compact was to avoid covering the map

Model Y/3 AMD are expected to get Steam later. Right now only X/S.
fingers crossed. Can be a smart way to 80/20 it by rolling out to a smaller cohort initially?

Sweet! MYP Track Mode is actually confirmed! This and the cabin camera view for Dog Mode make this an awesome update for me. I can't wait until it gets pushed to my car! (which means I'm probably going to be one of the last to get it....

I’m curious to know more about the Apple Music integration. Streaming quality/bitrate? Download/offline support? Gapless album playback? Shuffle button?
I hope so, but I doubt it. If they did, I assume they would’ve highlighted it in the release notes.

I don't. Someone asked this question before when I read an announcement and that was an answer. Could be Teslascope but not 100% sure.

I have a thread in the model 3 subforum right now where Teslascope is saying model 3/Y wont ever get steam because they dont have a ryzen processor with a discrete CPU.
I agree with @buddhafree that we need to wait, but it I tend to think that Model 3 / Y will not get it, since even some model S/X with ryzen processors are not getting it right now (and there is a thread in the model S subforum right now complaining that its only 2022 Feb+ model S / X

The 2022 holiday update is being rolled out. As part of the update, Steam gaming is brought to new S/X. Unfortunately 3/Y cannot run Steam games. Teslascope has confirmed that even the newest 3/Y with Ryzen CPU (aka MCU 3) does not have a discrete GPU. I guess we can never game on our 3/Y...

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?
So I see in the Christmas update we're getting Steam finally as promised. But it looks like it's only working in cars built after February 2022. Is this not false advertising on Tesla's part? This was in the promotion material from early 2021

I only play a couple of games on the Nintendo Switch and don’t have Steam, but I guess those of you who want to play Steam games in your car but don’t have the proper hardware should just get a Steam Deck?
