2022 Nov pick up

Just picked up my mylr on last Monday 11/7/2022 and realized there’s a lot of problems with my my. I shouldn’t take this delivery.
The is unacceptable for a brand new car.

Yikes. I thought mine was bad. How was your service experience? I have 9 concerns with my car and I can see the repair progress through the app.They gave me $100 Uber credit per day and was told will be done today.

Since the car had to stay for a week, they gave me a loaner Model 3. I was expecting uber credit but the SA just gave me a loaner, maybe they had some in stock or something, not sure.

3 really noticeable ones on the exterior and 1 on the interior. 2 are down to the white layer (Stock color is MSM) and 2 are down to the layer below said white layer, lol.

They just extended the Body Shop estimate from tomorrow to the 18th

Mine got some chips on the driver side too and they just told me they need more time to fix it too. Was supposed to get back today

Oh no. Good luck to you too. We will be able to drive it one day and get our own chips. I was eager to perform DIY PPF this weekend too…guess that’s not happening.

Wow you can try, just take a look how much for ppf in my my and it costs nearly 3k. That’s insane.

Yah, I did get some quotes and just the front bumper is $700-$900 flat rate. Covering the hood and side pillars (Entire front) will be $1500+

I was thinking to get ceramic coating $850 for 3 years or ppf. What do you think?

It depends on budget and driving habits. I would at least get a quote for PPF for the front bumper and then ceramic coat the entire car (in that order). The front bumper is just a big surface, perfect for chips, haha

Ceramic will do pretty much nothing for rock chips

I might go with ppf then cuz that’s just for 3 years appearance lol
