According to their website that is leaving tomorrow and arriving in Southampton on the 16th June.
Direct link.... For easeAccording to their website that is leaving tomorrow and arriving in Southampton on the 16th June.
Absolutely no idea . I guess if you put your mind to it you can put a lot of cars on a boat in 24 hours. If leaving tomorrow, would the window of loading several thousand cars (i.e. Teslas) be too small?
We ship containers from Shanghai regularly and allow 6 weeks. The transit time is about 4 weeks if it comes direct. I guess if they get a ship full U.K. cars, allowing for a week this end, last shipping date must be week commencing 23rd May.Mr M - am I right in thinking there is a 2-3ish week window now where a ship must leave Shanghai or all Q2 deliveries are off the table?
Why do people keep mentioning Zeebrugge when historically no ships have come to the UK via there?
With clearance and the time to arrange deliveries etc, I can't see one leaving that late for Q2 deliveriesWe ship containers from Shanghai regularly and allow 6 weeks. I’ve seen this as well but wasn’t sure if that was a certainty.it can stop at zeebrugge and then UK
I’ve been watching this one as well after Mr. M mentioned it.French Intel for the Theben: It will dock in Shanghai on May 15. Expected for Europe with 4100 Tesla on board including 600 for UK
Yes, THEBEN shall be closely monitored (expected to leave Shanghai May 15th, destination Zeebrugge with an arrival on June 14th)…OK so TANNHAUSER is of no interest to us
I have mentioned GRAND PAVO before however THEBEN is very likely to be of interest to us.
Due at Southampton on 13th June currently. Interesting.French Intel for the Theben: It will dock in Shanghai on May 15. Expected for Europe with 4100 Tesla on board including 600 for UK
they shut the factory for 3 weeks and now its running at part capacity. I think that is a givenbut that's already for mid to late june for Q2 deliveries, that's late, I don't see how tesla hopes to not hurt Q2 numbers...
Don't forget to allow 3 1/2 minutes for PDI and cleaningWith clearance and the time to arrange deliveries etc, I can't see one leaving that late for Q2 deliveries
Mid May maximum imo
1,200 cars a day apparently.they shut the factory for 3 weeks and now its running at part capacity. I think that is a given
